What do the different colours for tags mean?

The colours indicate which season the mare was covered and if the cover was successful or not

In Repro, you can see different coloured Served (covered) tags, including Missed, Slipped or Barren. The colours indicate when the mare was covered and her pregnancy status.

For the coloured tags

  • Blue - Mare was serviced last season and is in foal.
  • Green - Mare was serviced current season and pregnancy scan is positive.
  • Red - Mare was serviced current season and pregnancy scan is negative.
  • Yellow - Mare was serviced current season and but no successful scans yet.

The other tags are grey.

  • Missed - Covered last season but pregnancy scan was negative
  • Slipped - Covered last season, pregnancy scan positive but did not produce a live foal
  • Barren - Covered last season, but did not fall pregnant. May indicate irregular cycles or no longer able to conceive.
